Summer Leadership Conference

On the second weekend of July, Key Club members from all over the world attended the second Summer Leadership Conference. A majority of members attended virtually via a unique platform, while a majority of past/present International Council members attended in-person at Orlando, Florida. Of course, I attended the conference virtually, and it was my first international event. The workshops I was able to attend ranged from how to get a date (which was partially clickbait, but understandable) to the various efforts of Key Club with UNICEF. There was also the showcase of the top entries from the talent, club video, and oratorical contest. Turns out a lot of New Yorkers are on the KC grind. The 2021-22 International Board was elected, and I wasn’t able to catch the end of the conference, but that was a good way to end SLC.
