EVENTS
Service
We are first and foremost a service organization. From volunteering at cultural festivals with the assistance of your club to our monthly Division-Wide Service events, there is definitely something that you can be involved in to help our communities.

Most of the events mentioned below are just fun extras that come with community service ;)

One of few events where members from all over the CNH District get together to celebrate the accomplishments of the past term and commence new beginnings. From informational workshops with ideas that you can bring back to your club to new District Executives to even a ball, there's something for everybody.

No, they didn't make you look. That's really the Region 9 hand sign.
Get hyped up with spirit and make new friends while supporting the Pediatric Trauma Program's efforts to save the lives of children at FRN! You'll also get to experience Fright Fest, so get spooked and spirited during this iconic event!

By the way, it's held right here in Division 8's territory, so your ~local hangout place~, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, is also a venue for one of the most famous events of the Key Club term!

Want to learn more about Key Club beyond the club or divisional level? Want some tips as to how to become a better leader? Attend a training conference! There are multiple that you can participate in to ~expand your knowledge~, and it's a great opportunity to propel yourself to District-level recognition through the MRP.

Don't really know what MRP means? Then take our advice and get trained!
Conclave is where a section of dues-paid members get to vote for the next Lieutenant Governor! See history unfold right in front of your eyes while supporting the candidates that want to represent us on the District Board.

Keep in mind that since it is a rather formal event, wear business casual outfits.

The only time it has occurred so far was in 2020, but is is very possible that its importance will be amplified as the years go on. Members beyond our District come together to support the Kiwanis Family House, and they help continue the House's efforts to support families in need.
Held in the middle of summer vacation, R9 Olympics is where the entire Region (D02N/S, D08, and D26N/S) gathers to play fun games in teams while getting to bond with members from the North and East Bay!

The most recent R9 Olympics was held on July 17th, 2021 at Alameda Crab Cove!
