On Saturday, July 17th, from 9:30 am to 4:20 pm, 6 members from Benicia Key Club attended the first in-person event of the 2021-2022 term at Alameda Crab Cove - the R9 Olympics! It was a fun day filled with icebreakers, games, and fundraising for PTP! Division 8 had a team called “Lemongrabs” competing in the R9 Olympics and also our LTG Miah Chao from Benicia competed in a team called the “R9 Dream Team”. Although none of them won, they were able to meet lots of new people and had an amazing time! The July DCM started around 11 in the morning and ended at 11:20 am. During the DCM, Benicia was awarded the Club of the month award, and Jordan Buddo, a key clubber from Benicia received the Member of the month award! Benicia was also one of the clubs that had the most members attending the R9 Olympics and received goodie bags. This event was filled with lots of fun and Benicia would definitely participate in it next year!
