Our current officer board has actually been planning this for a while, and June 6th was the day we carried it all out. Most of the IP officers came, including Nate Yo, who was our 2019-20 president and is now a Kiwanian! They thought that they were just at Silver Oak Park for a hangout between the two boards, when in reality, we were celebrating them. The current officers gave 1-2 IP officers posters and a gift bag. The food was enjoyable, including the BTS Meal, which a few of us brought along to the park. We did a scavenger hunt where we had to do tasks such as celebrating Pride Month in some form, reciting the Key Club cheer, and walking/running a mile for Charity Miles more than we needed to. We took the iconic lineage pictures between the IP and current officers, where there were oftentimes three generations in one picture. Tech editor/tech team/historian had four! Marielle gave an improvised speech thanking the seniors for all their hard work throughout the years, and especially during a pandemic. By the time I left, we were playing Reverse Charades, and I was so happy that this secret plan that was devised since the end of DCON turned out to be successful.
