Dog Festival

On October 17th, Benicia Key Clubbers helped set up and clean up at the local dog festival,

located down 1st street in front of the train depot. There were stands along the grass in front

of the Benicia Historical train depot that presented dogs in costumes and accessories dog

owners could buy. The purpose of the festival is to raise money for non-profit organizations

that care for and rescue animals within the region. Many dog festival sponsors are local

companies such as the Valero Benicia Refinery, Benicia Plumbing, and even the Benicia

Community Foundation which Key Club works closely with.
