January Food Distribution

Two times a month Kiwanis holds a food distribution for the people of the city. For students, this is a great opportunity for volunteer work! We help set up tables, distribute boxes of food, and have a good time with the other volunteers. During my freshman year, when school was online, my friends and I would sign up for food distribution almost every week. Because of this, we were able to get our volunteer hours during such a remote time. Sometimes the line got so long, it went around the corner, so we came up with solutions to make sure that everyone was able to get food.
