Blue and Gold

This year, Benicia Key Club took part in Pack 108’s annual “Blue and Gold”. Since Benicia

Kiwanis charters Cub Scout Pack 108, composed of cub scouts from kindergarten to fifth

grade, Pack 108 often reaches out to Key Club for help. The “Blue and Gold” is a special

event for cub scouts, celebrating the fifth graders who are of the “Webelo” rank cross over

into Boy Scouts (for ages 13-18). Cake and spaghetti is often catered at these events. Even

though the scouts asked for help on a whim, Key Clubbers were quick to respond to their

request to help them set up and clean for their event.
