August DCM

This DCM was rather memorable. For one thing, due to too many people at Shenandoah Park, we relocated to nearby Silver Oak Park. I wanted to do some playground photography before anything else happened, so I seized the opportunity. After that, SC/President Marielle led a game of Mafia as an icebreaker - turns out Giselle, who I was standing next to, was a Mafia member. Once we wrapped up the DCM section afterwards, we found out that the projector and Miah’s laptop weren’t working so smoothly together, so that led to a change of plans (we were supposed to watch “Spirited Away”). For part of the evening, everyone in attendance was singing along to music from Miley Cyrus to AJ Rafael to BTS. I was playing the lyric video for “Love To Hate Me” by Blackpink when a game of Capture The Flag was announced. I personally didn’t play, but I was there to witness the chaos and the speed of several players. Sure, the game plan did change a bit drastically, but thanks to that, all I can think about is a future karaoke/singalong event.
